Pool Restoration Update

We want to provide an update regarding the pool restoration project. While there is no definitive completion date at this time, our goal is to have the work finished within the next few weeks. Please note that progress is weather-dependent and influenced by several other factors.

Our top priority is ensuring the integrity and quality of the work, as this amenity is an important part of the experience Wilderness Village offers to all of our guests.

We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. Please note that we will not be issuing refunds or rate reductions for reservations made while the main pool remains under construction. In the meantime, we invite you to enjoy our smaller pool for your relaxation and enjoyment.

What's better than the RV lifestyle?

Imagine your family exploring hiking trails that lead to beaver dams, or fishing in one of the nearby lakes or streams. How about a relaxing swim in one of our heated pools? If golfing is your favourite pastime, there is a beautiful course only a few minutes away. At the end of the day, you can have a comfortable soak in one of the Hot Tubs. When Sunday morning rolls around you can treat the family to the resort's weekly pancake breakfast (Sundays).

FAQs

How do I book a camping trip with my friends?

Each site or cabin needs to be booked separately, so make sure to use the name of the person staying for each reservation. Keep in mind that we don’t do group camping here, and we can’t guarantee that your sites will be next to each other. Also, each reservation is for one family unit with a max of 8 people.

Can I tent, and what sites can I tent on?

Yes, just reserve an RV site. One sleeping unit (RV or tent) is included in the reservation. When choosing your site upon arrival, you must choose from the list of designated tenting sites (the sites circled in red below). Please note: trailers and RVs CAN park on tenting sites.

Can I book over the phone?

Nope, all bookings must be made through our easy online reservation system.

Can my friends come visit me while I’m at the resort?

Unfortunately, we can’t allow day visitors into the resort. Only guests with a confirmed reservation can stay. If your friends want to meet up, you’ll need to meet them outside the resort.

Can I pick my exact site?

We can’t guarantee specific sites, as they’re assigned on a first-come, first-served basis when you arrive with a reservation. If your primary sleeping unit is a tent, you may only camp on designated tenting sites.

Do you offer day passes?

We don’t have day passes available. Only guests with a valid reservation can enjoy our resort and amenities.

When does your pool open and close?

Our pool usually opens in time for May long weekend and stays open until after Thanksgiving; however, this is fully dependent on weather. 

When do your children's activities begin?

Our children's activities (through the Funshack) usually begin in early July after school is out for the summer.

Do you still have your petting zoo and trail rides?

Sadly, we no longer have a petting zoo or offer trail rides. But here's the good news: we're bringing mini golf to the resort for Summer 2025! Stay tuned!

Can RVs and Trailers park on designated tenting sites?

Yes, RVs and trailers may park on designated tenting sites. 

Please read before you book:

Through our booking portal you can view & book available dates. We require a one-night deposit at the time of booking as well as some information like your name, address, phone number and email address. The remainder of the payment will be automatically applied two weeks before the start of your reservation. 

  • Maximum of one family unit per reservation, up to a maximum of 8 people. This means two parents or guardians and up to six dependents.
  • If you are tenting, you must choose only designated tenting sites when you arrive.
  • Only one sleeping unit is included in your reservation, additional tents are an additional cost and must be occupied by members of your immediate family.
  • We do not allow day visitors into the resort. Only guests with a confirmed reservation may enter. If your friends want to meet up, you’ll need to meet them outside the resort.
